Mooresville Fire-Rescue, along with units from South Iredell Volunteer Fire Department and Mount Mourne Volunteer Fire Department, responded to a structure fire at 252 Mackwood Road in Mooresville just after 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the vacant structure was fully involved with a roof collapse.

Fire investigators have determined the fire was intentionally set.

The Mooresville Fire Marshal’s Office is coordinating with detectives from the Mooresville Police Department and agents with the State Bureau of Investigation to develop additional information.
