Iredell health officials report county’s 200th case of COVID-19

The Iredell County Health Department reported nine new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, pushing the total number of cases in the county to 200.

Among those cases:

♦ 81 people are isolating at home;
♦ 4 people are hospitalized;
♦ 109 people are presumed recovered; and
♦ 6 people have died

Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Iredell County

Some 93 of the confirmed cases have been in the southern end of the county, 70 in the central region and 37 in the northern end.

The N.C. Department of Health & Human Services reported Monday that the number of laboratory confirmed cases in the state has now eclipsed 19,700. At least 691 deaths in the state have been attributed to COVID-19, and 585 remain hospitalized across North Carolina.
