The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Harmony man as a homicide.

Deputies responded to a residence at 115 Damron Road about 2:30 p.m. on Thursday after receiving a report of a death at that address, according to an ICSO news release.

The first deputy on scene observed a man’s body in the living room, and no one else was located in the home, Sheriff Darren Campbell said in a news release.

The victim was identified as Aaron Bruce Holland, 35, who lives at the residence where his body was found.

Evidence at the scene indicated the death was not from natural causes, Campbell said.

ICSO detectives and crime scene investigators responded to the scene, which was processed for physical evidence. People who were in the area were interviewed.
