The Statesville Police Department reported the following arrests:

APRIL 24
♦ Cashion Tyron Tucker, 19, of Shinnville Road, Cleveland, charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and misdemeanor probation violation.

APRIL 28
♦ Jason P. Crist Jr., 31, of Auburn, Ala., charged with larceny of a motor vehicle.

♦ Davion Sincere Rankin, 19, of N. Lackey Street, Statesville, charged with breaking or entering a motor vehicle, attempted breaking or entering a motor vehicle, and misdemeanor larceny.

Crime Reports

The SPD is investigating the following crime reports:

APRIL 22
♦ A resident of the 200 block of N. Lackey Street reported a break-in and the theft of a PlayStation 4 game system.

APRIL 23
♦ A Statesville resident reported a motor vehicle break-in in the 100 block of North Pointe Boulevard and the theft of miscellaneous items.

APRIL 27
♦ Two Statesville residents reported a robbery in the 500 block of Russell Street.

♦ A resident of the 1200 block of Mitchell Avenue reported a motor vehicle break-in and the theft of a driver’s license, gift card, debit card, cash and a wallet.

APRIL 28
♦ A resident of the 100 block of Signal Hill Drive reported a breaking or entering.

♦ A resident of the 500 block of E. Broad Street reported a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle.

♦ Two residents of the 400 block of E. Broad Street reported a motor vehicle break-in.

♦ Two Statesville residents reported a motor vehicle break-in and the theft of a pair of sunglasses, a wallet, and a credit card and debit card.

♦ A resident of the 200 block of Deaton Street reported a breaking and entering.
