The Statesville Police Department reported the following arrests:

JUNE 4
♦ Roger Lee Stump, 60, of Crossroads Drive, Statesville, charged with assaulting a handicapped person and assault with a deadly weapon.

JUNE 6
♦ Adrian Lamont Sifford, 32, of Cordovia Lane, Statesville, charged with larceny or a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.

JUNE 7
♦ Anita Kaye Garrison, 56, of McLaughlin Street, Statesville, charged with larceny.

♦ Romel Barta Mcdonald, 38, of Shelton Avenue, Statesville, charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking or entering, and injury/damage to real property.

JUNE 9
♦ LaTawn Xavier Sloan, 31, of Spartanburg, S.C., charged with larceny of a motor vehicle.

JUNE 12
♦ Valerie Marie Payton, 56, of Taylorsville Road, Statesville, charged with obtaining property by false pretenses and uttering a forged instrument.

JUNE 13
♦ Cera Davionne Calloway, 29, of Bell Street, Statesville, charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

JUNE 21
♦ Malik Sha’ron Sturgis, 21, of Sullivan Road, Statesville, charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and armed robbery.

JUNE 26
♦ Robert Marshall Hastings, 30, of E. Raleigh Avenue, Statesville, charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and resist or obstruct a public officer.
