Fifth Street Ministries is sponsoring a Health Fair/Back-to-School Festival for the community on Saturday, August 14. Everyone is invited.

The nonprofit will be providing backpacks with school supplies for students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The child must be present to receive a backpack.

All food, games, entertainment , and activities are at no cost to the community. Any vendors selling items at the event are pricing $10 or less.

This event is being sponsored to meet the needs of our community while offering fun and unity. It will take place at Alex Cooper Park, located at 1500 Fifth Street, starting at 11 a.m.

The event will kick off with a parade starting on Garner Bagnal Boulevard and Wilson Lee Boulevard.
