I-SS COVID-19 numbers remain low as district prepares for return to full-time in-person learning on April 7

Only two staff members and 12 students in Iredell-Statesville Schools tested positive for COVID-19 during the week of March 26 – April 1.

With students preparing to return to full-time in-person learning on Wednesday, April 7, Those are among the lowest numbers since the district began its weekly COVID-19 Dashboard.

Twenty-three staff members isolated or quarantined during the reporting period, along with 257 students, according to the district.

There were no cases of secondary spread of COVID-19 in I-SS schools during that week, officials said. 

I-SS and Iredell County Health Department officials notified parents of possible exposure to COVID-19 at the following district schools:

East Iredell

Lake Norman
North Iredell
Statesville
South Iredell
West Iredell
