Iredell County health officials reported two more deaths attributed to COVID-19 on Wednesday.

A total of 338 people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Iredell County have died since the onset of the pandemic in Marrch of 2020. The Iredell County Health Department does not release personal information about COVID-19 patients, including those who die.

In addition to the latest deaths, health officials reported 99 new laboratory confirmed cases. A total of 31,479 people in Iredell have tested positive for COVID-19.

Forty-eight people who have tested positive are currently hospitalized in Iredell County, including 40 county residents.
