Mitchell Community College announced plans on Thursday to hold a virtual graduation ceremony next month.

The virtual graduation will be held on Friday, May 14. The pre-recorded ceremony video will be viewable online at mitchellcc.edu/graduation beginning at 6 p.m.

The virtual graduation will include traditional graduation remarks and feature guest speaker Thomas Stith III, president of the North Carolina Community College System.

Individual videos will recognize students by their credentials earned. Graduates will be called alphabetically in each category.

The ceremony video links will remain on the website through June 30. Students will be able to download the video and a printable program for their personal keepsake.
