As part of its 75th anniversary celebration, Monticello United Methodist Church welcomes Rev. Mike Slaughter this weekend for inspiration and learning.
Rev. Slaughter is pastor emeritus of Ginghamsburg Church near Dayton, Ohio, and chief strategist with Passionate Churches. He is a faithful Jesus follower and has decades of experience as a pastoral leader, serving in vital and growing ministry.
Slaughter met with community clergy on Friday for questions and conversation around ministry. He will also lead a session with laity and clergy on Saturday in the Monticello UMC facility.
The community is welcome for this listening, learning, and conversation session with Rev. Slaughter in person in the church facility on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Rev. Slaughter will speak and facilitate thoughtful discussion about creating and leading ministry. This gathering is timely and will be meaningful for anyone who is seeking to love and serve Jesus faithfully.
