The Mooresville Police Department is asking for the public to help identify a man who robbed a pharmacist on Saturday.
According to an MPD news release, a man entered the Walgreens Pharmacy at 542 River Highway at 1:31 a.m. and approached the pharmacist. The man implied he had a weapon and then demanded pain medication, police said.
The pharmacist complied with the demand, and the suspect fled with multiple bottles of generic Percocet, according to the news release.
The suspect is described as male with a tan complexion and was believed to be in his late teens to early 20s, police said. He was wearing an oversized yellow “Vans” hoodie and a black face mask. The pharmacist indicated that the male had dark marks or dots above his eyebrows.
