Starting next week, N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close part of an Iredell County road for about 10 months for a bridge replacement.

Coolbrook Road will be closed in both directions between Fox Mountain Road and Linney’s Mill Road in the Love Valley area starting Monday, January 25.

Work is expected to continue through November 15.

Traffic will be detoured to N.C. 115, Linney’s Mill Road and back to Coolbrook Road.

Motorists should use caution and expect some delays while using the detour.
