Nearly 500 I-SS students forced to quarantine or isolate due to possible COVID-19 exposure

Seventeen Iredell-Statesville Schools staff members and 499 district students quarantined or isolated during the week of April 9-15 due to possible exposure to COVID-19.

Twenty-six district students and one staff member tested positive during the reporting period, according to the latest I-SS COVID-19 Dashboard.

There were no cases of secondary spread in district schools during the reporting period.

I-SS officials and the Iredell County Health Department notified parents of possible COVID-19 exposure at 14 district schools during the reporting period:
