MOORESVILLE – Beginning this week, a major state highway in Iredell County will have lanes closed for a resurfacing project.
Starting Wednesday, lanes will be closed along a 1.1-mile, multi-lane section of N.C. 150 between Interstate 77 and west of Morrison Plantation Parkway/Ervin Road while crews mill and resurface the road. This is part of the Iredell County Resurfacing Contract awarded by the N.C. Department of Transportation in 2019.
Work will be limited to nightly closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. The project is expected to be complete in late August, weather permitting.
All work will be suspended for holiday travel from July 1-6.
