The Drug-Alcohol Coalition of Iredell (DACI), in partnership with the Mooresville ABC Board, is pleased to announce its request for funding proposals to support substance use prevention, education and treatment efforts.

DACI is requesting organizations or agencies to submit proposals that will utilize resources and provide evidence-based practices to reduce substance use, misuse, overdose and overdose deaths.

Funds must be used for the prevention, education, or treatment of alcohol and substance use issues, to include but not limited to educational materials, evidenced-based curriculums/programs, training materials, community outreach, and agencies that support individuals without insurance or funds to access treatment.

RESTRICTIONS

♦ Funds may only be used within the Town of Mooresville or to support residents residing in ZIP codes 28115 and 28117.
♦ Funds may not be used for employment purposes of any kind, type, or purpose.
♦ Funding requests may not exceed $25,000.

Applications must be submitted to info@daciredell.org by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9.
