Race fans will take over the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Bank of America Roval 400 this weekend, and one fortunate fan will do much more than watch from the stands.
Ben Martin, a 15- year-old from Mooresville, lives with autism, ADHD, and hearing limitations. He is a homegrown NASCAR fan whose loyalty resides with two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch.
Busch’s team has partnered with national nonprofit Dream On 3 to customize a VIP weekend for Martin that will kick off on Friday with a celebration at his home. The experience will include accommodations at Great World Lodge, fine dining at the Speedway Club, a shop tour of Joe Gibbs Racing, and a 1:1 opportunity for Busch and Martin to connect.
Each day, Martin and his family bravely face the challenges that come with his condition.
“We hope that Ben has the opportunity to soak in all these special moments and that he’ll continue to dream big and believe that those dreams can come true,” says Mandie Condie senior program coordinator for Dream On 3.
