Members of Girl Scout Troop 13179 met at Mount Mourne Fire Department Tuesday, September 20, to learn about Veterans and the U.S. flag. They also toured the facility and learned about fire safety while completing work on their Citizenship and Community Badges.

The scouts also made and gifted candy survival kits for the firefighters to thank them for their time and service to the community.
