Piedmont Animal Rescue, in conjunction with the Aloft Mooresville and LKNFEST, has invited every 501(c)3 Animal Rescue Organization and county animal shelters throughout North Carolina to take part in the inaugural Rescue Roundup on Saturday, May 28.

The event, which organizers believe will be the largest animal adoption event of its kind, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Iredell County Fairgrounds.

This Rescue Roundup will feature hundreds of adoptable animals from across the state. The event will have something for everyone, including the K9s in Flight Frisbee Dog Show (multiple show times), vendors, food trucks, a Kid Zone and more.

Sponsors of this first annual event include Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, LKN Small Engines, SCAG Power Equipment and Brenda’s Bet for Pets. Supporters of the event include Pet Pilgrimage, Zootastic, Sawyer Insurance and Limelight Painting of Mooresville.

All proceeds from the Rescue Roundup will help these organizations take care of rescue animals all over our state.
