Iredell Community Outreach Association (Iredell COAST) will hold a clothing giveaway on Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Resale Shop located at 625 Sullivan Road in Statesville.

Iredell COAST plans to give away 10,000 pieces of clothing throughout the day. Items include men’s, women’s and children’s clothing.

This event will include spring/summer and fall/winter apparel.

All clothing inside the resale shop will be free, and there will be countless tables and racks placed outside (inside if it rains) for community members to look through. All clothing will be free.

Community members should bring their own bags as those will not be provided. Donations for the Iredell COAST Community Food Bank will be accepted during this event, and the resale shop will also be open to the public.

There will also be a community yard sale in the parking lot. Anyone interested in setting up a table should plan to arrive and set up between 7 and  8:30 a.m. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are $10 each. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs, etc.

This move is an effort to get rid of 10,000 pieces of clothing ahead of the Iredell COAST’s upcoming relocation to the former Blockbuster location on Broad Street.
