District Attorney Sarah Kirkman’s office announced dispositions in the February 28 session of Iredell County Superior Court:
♦ Nicholas Johnson pleaded guilty to 13 counts of Felony Breaking or Entering, Felony Financial Card Theft, three counts of Misdemeanor Larceny, Injury to Personal Property, Felony Breaking or Entering a Motor Vehicle, Identity Theft, Possession of Firearm by Felon and Larceny of a Firearm. He was sentenced to 17 to 30 months in prison at the expiration of 8 to 19 months in prison, followed by five consecutive 10 to 21 month suspended sentences. He also received an active sentence of 8 to 19 months at the expiration of the above sentences for a probation violation.
♦ Crystal Weber pleaded guilty to two counts of Attempted Trafficking in Opium and received two consecutive, suspended sentences of 16 to 29 months with a split sentence of 10 days in jail.
♦ Brittany Butler pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Heroin and Misdemeanor Larceny and received a sentence of 8 to 19 months in prison for probation violations and, upon release from prison, 6 to 17 months suspended.
♦ James Stokes pleaded guilty to Felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Counterfeit Controlled Substance, Assault on a Female, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Second Degree Trespass and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. He was sentenced to 12 to 24 months in prison, plus 10 to 21 months suspended upon release from prison.
H & I Felony District Court (March 8)
Dispositions were announced in the following cases during the March 8 session of H & I Felony District Court:
♦ Tina Atwell pleaded guilty to Felony Sell or Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 8 to 19 months suspended.
♦ Carlos Flores pleaded guilty to two counts of Felony Embezzlement and was sentenced to 6 to 17 months suspended.
♦ India Green pleaded guilty to nine counts of Felony Larceny of Chose in Action and was sentenced to three consecutive sentences of 6 to 17 months with a split sentence of 45 days in jail.
♦ Katherine Hulin pleaded guilty to Felony Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 5 to 15 months suspended.
♦ Brandon Hunsucker pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Heroin and was sentenced to 4 to 14 months suspended.
♦ Katie McAlpine pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 5 to 15 months suspended.
♦ Kevin Morrison pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 7 to 18 months suspended.
♦ Latif Sattar pleaded guilty Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana and was sentenced to 4 to 14 months suspended.
♦ Billy Smith pleaded guilty to Felony Larceny and was sentenced to 4 to 14 months suspended with a 10-day split sentence in jail.
♦ Lonnie Stewart pleaded guilty to Felony Larceny Removal Anti-Theft Device and was sentenced to 8 to 19 months suspended.
♦ Shana Vickous pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 4 to 14 months suspended.
♦ Robert Whitakers pleaded guilty to Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretenses and Felony Attempted Obtaining Property by False Pretenses and was sentenced to 16 to 29 months in prison.
♦ Haley Williams pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 8 to 19 months suspended.
