District Attorney Sarah Kirkman’s Office reported dispositions in the following cases in H&I Felony District Court on June 14:
♦ Brandy Able pleaded guilty to Felony Flee to Elude Arrest and was sentenced to 5 to 15 months suspended.
♦ Timothy Becker pleaded guilty to Felony Breaking or Entering and was sentenced to 5 to 15 months suspended.
♦ Donald Bines pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Cocaine and Felony Maintaining a Place for Controlled Substances and was sentenced to 10 to 21 months suspended.
♦ Brandon Costa pleaded guilty to Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 11 to 23 months suspended.
♦ Christopher Cowan pleaded guilty to two counts of Felony Possession of Cocaine and was sentenced to two consecutive 10 to 21 month sentences suspended.
♦ Shannon Fox pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 8 to 19 months suspended.
♦ Roger Hamby pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Larceny and was sentenced to 6 to 17 months suspended.
♦ Charles Loftin pleaded guilty to Felony Hit and Run with Injury and was sentenced to 14 to 26 months suspended.
♦ Joshua Petrea pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 9 to 20 months suspended with a split sentence of 30 days in jail.
♦ Crystal Sims pleaded guilty to Misdemeanor Larceny of Motor Vehicle and Misdemeanor Solicit to Obtain Property by False Pretenses. She was sentenced to 120 days suspended with a split sentence of 20 days in jail.
♦ Lisa Stoia pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to 5 to 15 months suspended.
♦ Evan Trice pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods and was sentenced to 5 to 15 months suspended with a split sentence of three days in jail.
♦ Timothy Turner pleaded guilty to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to 75 days in jail.
♦ Misty Walker pleaded guilty to two counts of Felony Larceny and Felony Habitual Larceny and was sentenced to two consecutive 15 to 27 month suspended sentences with a split sentence of 30 days in jail.
♦ Todd Walker pleaded guilty to two counts of Felony Larceny and was sentenced to two consecutive 15 to 27 month suspended sentences with a split sentence of 30 days in jail.
It sure seems like a lot of Suspended Sentences? The elected DA and her staff need to be held accountable for the crimes that repeat offenders are committing in your neighborhood.
