District Attorney Sarah Kirkman’s Office announced the dispositions of the following cases recently in Iredell County Superior Court:
♦ Heather Readling pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to 6-17 months in prison. She was also sentenced to five consecutive sentences of 6-17 months in prison for probation violations.
♦ Jeffrey Turner pleaded guilty pursuant to Alford to Habitual Felon, Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance and Felony Maintaining a Place for Controlled Substances. He was sentenced to 38-58 months in prison.
♦ James Ginsburg pleaded guilty to two counts of Second Degree Burglary, Habitual Breaking or Entering, two counts of Felony Larceny, two counts of Larceny of Motor Vehicle, two counts of Breaking or Entering Motor Vehicle, Felony Conspiracy and Larceny of a Firearm. He was sentenced to 41-62 months in prison.
♦ Jennifer Lilly pleaded guilty to Attempted Trafficking in Opiates and was sentenced to 23-40 months suspended.
♦ Tyrone Briggs pleaded guilty to pursuant to Alford to Uttering a Forged Instrument and was sentenced to 5-15 months suspended.
♦ Julius Reynolds pleaded guilty to Possession of Firearm by Felon and Felony Breaking or Entering and was sentenced to 17-30 months in prison.
H & I Felony District Court
The following cases were disposed during the September 13 session of H & I Felony District Court:
♦ Christopher Bailey pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 8-19 months suspended with an active split sentence of five days in jail.
♦ Christopher Baker pleaded guilty to Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretenses and was sentenced to 9-20 months suspended.
♦ Christopher Beeler pleaded guilty to Felony Larceny and was sentenced to 8-19 months suspended with an active split sentence of 10 days in jail.
♦ Daniel Cox pleaded guilty to Felony Breaking/Entering, Felony Larceny after Breaking/Entering, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Felony Possession of Cocaine. He was sentenced to two consecutive suspended sentences of 10-21 months with active split sentences of 30 days and 60 days in jail.
♦ Brandon Gentle pleaded guilty to Felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and Felony Larceny and was sentenced to two consecutive suspended sentences of 8-19 months.
♦ Erica Irwin pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 6-17 months suspended with an active split sentence of 30 days in jail.
♦ Carey Kovacs pleaded guilty to two counts of Injury to Personal Property and First-Degree Trespass and was sentenced to 45 days suspended.
♦ Robert McHargue pleaded guilty to Felony Sell/Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substance and Assault on a Female and was sentenced to 9-20 months plus 150 days suspended. He was ordered to serve an active split sentence of two days in jail and was ordered to complete a domestic violence prevention program and substance abuse treatment.
♦ Brian Phelps pleaded guilty to Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana and was sentenced to 5-15 months suspended.
♦ Jessica Poole pleaded guilty to Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 5-15 months suspended.
♦ James Ransom pleaded guilty to Felony Break or Enter Coin/Currency Machine and was sentenced to 7-18 months suspended.
♦ Erin Shell pleaded guilty to Felony Possession Schedule II Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 6-17 months suspended with an active split sentence of one day in jail.
♦ Christopher Simmons pleaded guilty to Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Heroin and Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to consecutive sentences of 20-33 months plus 10-21-months in prison.
♦ Lionel Thomas pleaded No Contest to Felony Larceny and was sentenced to 12-24 months suspended.
♦ Summer Thorn pleaded guilty to Felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 6-17 months suspended.
