United Way of Iredell County announced that $27,200.36 raised through the 2022 Love United Iredell will help 12 participating nonprofits serve our community during the next six months.

Funds raised during the two-week campaign have been distributed and countless long-term partnerships have been created or reinforced for each nonprofit. An estimated 2,700 lives will be impacted by the projects selected, according to the United Way.

Approximately 120 individuals donated money to fund one of the 12 projects. A total of 51 schools, businesses, clubs and nonprofits were also involved in this year’s campaign.
