The Mooresville Youth Council is working to ensure each foster child in Iredell County has a bag that’s “Packed with Love.”
The youth council is partnering with the Mooresville-Lake Norman Exchange Club to raise $8,000 for their “Packed with Love” campaign, which will provide 100 kids with a string bag filled with toiletries, a backpack full of school supplies, and a duffel bag with a blanket and clothing accessories.

About the Mooresville Youth Council
The Mooresville Youth Council is a phenomenal (and fun!) opportunity for students in grades 9-12 to serve the community while learning about the ins-and-outs of local government. Council members serve as liaisons between the youth of Mooresville and the Town of Mooresville Board of Commissioners. Programming includes hands-on department visits, service projects, community initiatives, team building, and mentorship opportunities.
