The North Iredell High School Class of 1992 met at the homecoming game on Friday, wearing their reunion shirts, and enjoyed the game together.
On Saturday evening, around 50 graduates and many of their loved ones enjoyed a cookout at the home of Patsy Williams in North Iredell. Alton “Bud” Gaither, the grill master, served up hamburgers, hot dogs, and the most tender BBQ chicken legs ever. Chris Campbell fried up the tastiest whiting fish. Guests ate macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw on the side and banana pudding and cherry yum-yum for dessert. All sides and desserts were delicious from Sharpe’s catering.
There were lights draped from trees, a fire pit to stay warm, music from 1992, and so much laughter and fun. The class also had a memorial table for those graduates who passed on way too soon. As the memorial was mentioned, a beautiful rainbow appeared just beyond the trees. It was such a special moment.
