City of Statesville offices will be closed on Monday, January 1, in recognition of New Year’s Day.

The Statesville Fitness and Activity Center & Bentley Community Center will be open regular hours on December 31, and closed on January 1.

Garbage Collection

Here is the revised garbage collection and recycling schedule for January 1-6:

♦ Residential: Monday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday. Tuesday and Wednesday’s routes will be picked up on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday’s routes will be collected on a regular schedule.

♦ Commercial businesses: Monday and Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday. Wednesday through Saturday’s routes will be collected on the regular schedule.
