GIS ANALYST
Information Technology Department – GIS Division
Salary Range: $40,331.20 – $66,539.20

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under general supervision, performs technical work utilizing the computer-driven Geographic Information System and AutoCAD software. Employee must exercise considerable accuracy and attention to detail in obtaining map data, updating maps, and identifying information on maps.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Associates degree in Applied Sciences including GIS coursework; GIS certification; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Must maintain training and/or certifications required to perform job duties. Must have a working knowledge of ArcGIS , ArcSDE, SQL and AutoCAD products along with Microsoft Office products such as Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
