Cub Scouts from Cub Scout Pack #173 placed American flags on the graves of veterans at Centre Presbyterian Church and Fair View United Methodist Church in Mt. Mourne in honor of the service of  veterans to our great nation.

This act of respect was done after the Scouts learned the meaning of Veterans Day and why it observed. Several veterans shared information about the branch they served in and years that they served.

The Scouts marked close to 100 graves to honor local veterans.
