District Attorney Sarah Kirkman’s Office announced dispositions in the following cases, which were heard during the January 17 session of Iredell County Superior Court:
♦ Anitra Gregory pleaded guilty to Sale of Schedule II Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12-24 months suspended.
♦ Brittany Blackwood pleaded guilty to two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and was sentenced to 51-74 months in prison.
♦ Roy Williams pleaded guilty pursuant to Alford to Second-Degree Kidnapping and Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury. He was sentenced to 29-44 months in prison, followed by 29-44 months suspended.
♦ Dustin Owensby pleaded guilty to Felony Breaking or Entering and Larceny and Misdemeanor Death by Vehicle. He was sentenced to 15-27 months plus 150 days in prison.
♦ Richard McDonald pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Breaking or Entering a Motor Vehicle and Felony Larceny and was sentenced to 16-29 months in prison followed by 8-19 months suspended.
♦ Theodore Steele pleaded guilty to two counts of Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of Firearm by Felon and was sentenced to 15-27 months in prison followed by 19-32 months, plus 19-32 months suspended.
♦ Armando Rodriguez-Solano pleaded guilty to Felony Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 5-15 months in prison.
♦ Jimmie Terrell pleaded guilty to three counts of Sale of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to three consecutive suspended sentences of 14-26 months.
♦ Brian McGarity pleaded guilty to Conspire to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 17-30 months suspended.
♦ Nia Testman pleaded guilty to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and Attempted Trafficking Opium/Heroin and was sentenced to 16-29 months in prison at the expiration of 13-25 months in prison.
♦ Dawn Raines pleaded guilty to Possession of Cocaine and was sentenced to 6-17 months suspended.
♦ Daniel Gallardo pleaded guilty to Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of Cocaine and was sentenced to 70-93 months in prison and ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.
♦ Morgan Reed pleaded guilty to Trafficking Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 70-93 months in prison and ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.
♦ Aaron Knox pleaded guilty to Possession of Firearm by Felon and was sentenced to 12-24 months suspended.
♦ Logan Craven pleaded guilty to Assault Inflicting Physical Injury on Law Enforcement Officer and was sentenced to 6-17 months suspended.
♦ David Brown pleaded guilty to Possession of Firearm by Felon and was sentenced to 15-27 months suspended.
♦ Dominick Diggs pleaded guilty to Possession of Firearm by Felon, Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Cocaine and Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver MDMA and was sentenced to 13-25 months suspended.
♦ Mark Laporte pleaded guilty to three counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and was sentenced to 20-36 months suspended. The defendant must register as a sex offender.
♦ Andon Jenkins pleaded guilty to Extortion and was sentenced to 13-25 months suspended.
♦ Misty Griffin pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 5-15 months suspended.
♦ Damon Mayfield pleaded guilty to Second-Degree Kidnapping and Crime Against Nature and was sentenced to 31-98 months suspended. The defendant must register as a sex offender.
♦ Quadarius Bailey pleaded guilty to Assault by Strangulation and was sentenced to 5-15 months suspended.
♦ Michael Wilkerson pleaded guilty to Breaking or Entering to Terrorize and Assault Inflicting Serious Injury and was sentenced to 6-17 months suspended.
♦ Tony Deese pleaded guilty to Felony Larceny After Breaking or Entering and was sentenced to 15-27 months in prison.
♦ Raymond Glover pleaded guilty pursuant to Alford to three counts of Felony Larceny and was sentenced to two consecutive sentences of 15-27 months in prison.
♦ Brandon Bell pleaded guilty to Felony Chop Shop Activity, Felony Possess Stolen Motor Vehicle and Obtaining Property by False Pretenses and was sentenced to consecutive suspended sentences of 14-26 months and 8-19 months.
♦ Dakota Ferguson pleaded guilty pursuant to Alford to Felony Conspiracy to Commit Chop Shop Activity and was sentenced to 6-17 months suspended.
♦ Devante Grier pleaded guilty to Felony Flee to Elude Arrest, Driving While Impaired and Assault on Government Official and was sentenced to 12 months in prison for the Driving While Impaired and 8-19 months in prison for the remaining charges.
♦ Rex Locke pleaded guilty to Felony Making a False Bomb Report Concerning Destructive Device and was sentenced to 20-33 months in prison. This sentence is to run at the expiration of 9-20 months in prison for a Felony Probation Violation.
♦ Patrick McLaughlin pleaded no contest to Felony Habitual Misdemeanor Assault and Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 16-29 months in prison.
♦ George Wiltbanks pleaded guilty to Felony Flee to Elude Arrest and was sentenced to 18-31 months in prison.
♦ Crystal Nance pleaded guilty to two counts of Felony Breaking or Entering and Felony Conspiracy to Commit Breaking or Entering and was sentenced to consecutive suspended sentences of 11-23 months, 11-23 months and 8-19 months.
♦ Christopher Hess pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods and was sentenced to 6-17 months suspended.
♦ Donte Howard pleaded no contest to Misdemeanor Solicit to Obtain Property by False Pretenses and was sentenced to 120 days suspended.
Unbelievable! Why go to court? Most criminals just walk out.
Anyone convicted of tax evasion always serves time. That’s Federal. They’ll let you get away with practically anything else, but not that.
This is a joke. This man pleaded guilty to kidnapping and crimes against nature and got a suspended sentence? So we are just gonna wait until he does it again, I guess.
