Whether you’re shopping for new blinds, windows or gutters, you’ll find several options at the Iredell Home & Garden Show this Friday and Saturday at the Statesville Civic Center.
The event, sponsored by Signal Hill Media Partners and presented by The Window Source, runs from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $5. Children ages 12 and under get in free.
Fifty-eight vendors, including food trucks, are registered for the event.
“This is the only event of this type in Iredell County! Now you can solve all of your projects in one place, in just one weekend at the Iredell Home and Garden Show,” said Brian Seabold, one of the show’s organizers. “The event will have thousands of square feet of exhibits. You’ll find the latest services and products for your home or garden: builders, landscapers, interior designers, decks, pools, spas, furniture, building materials, entertainment systems, fireplaces, storage and so much more!“
N.C. Cooperative Extension staff will have a presentation devoted to small container gardening on Saturday at 2 p.m.
A variety of companies from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and even New York will be at the event, showcasing everything from hot tubs and lawn mowers to waterproofing and mosquito control services.
North Carolina author Kimberly Morrison will be signing books and giving away a complete set of autographed books. There will be prizes to win, including tickets to the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival, and two Plantation Rockers from Troutman Chair Co.
Because of the positive reception already, next year the show will run over three days, from March 22-24, again at the Statesville Civic Center.
Billy Blevins, owner of Signal Hill Media Partners, hopes that everyone will enjoy the event and learn something helpful.
“We are excited to be bringing the Iredell Home and Garden show to Statesville. The response we have gotten from businesses has been amazing. If you have a home or garden project, you can definitely find the answers and help you need at the show. We want to thank all of our sponsors and especially the Statesville Civic Center staff for being so helpful and supportive in putting the show together. I encourage everyone to come out this weekend and see all of the great companies, services and products.”
