The Mooresville Police Department will hold a free crime prevention class for the public on Monday, December 11, at 5:30 p.m.

The class will be held at MPD headquarters, located at 2847 Charlotte Highway in Mooresville.

This class is designed to instruct residents how to protect themselves and loved ones from common crimes such as fraud, extortion, theft, rental scams, and more. A discussion of local crime trends will help attendees better understand how crime impacts their community.

This event is free and open to the public.

Registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served.
