Everything from ice-cold lemonade and baked goods to hand-crafted bracelets and tie-dye clothing were available from the 11 vendor booths at the 4th Annual Kids Biz Expo on Friday evening during the Piedmont Healthcare Friday After Five concert.

The expo, organized by the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, encourages young entrepreneurs in grades K-12 to create, develop and market a product or service that they are passionate about.

Participants included:

♦ Johanna, Stella, Davina and Eliyanah Ou with keychains;
♦  Boys & Girls Club of the Piedmont with lemonades;
♦ Averi and Andrew Wooten with craft-made flowers, succulents and comic books;
♦ Serah Mobin with microwave bowl cozies;
♦ Bergen Austin with bracelets and jewelry;
♦ Bentley Pearson with bracelets and refreshments;
♦ Gavin and Arabella Hughes with tie-dye apparel;
♦ Shakayla Lewis with paintings and baked goods;
♦ Natalie Ellis with wooden crafts;
♦ Max Viera with hand-potted plants; and
♦ Mary Bill with paintings and comic books
