Registration underway for 13th Annual Timmy Belcher Rainbow Kidz Ride & Run

Registration is now underway for the 13th Annual Timmy Belcher Rainbow Kidz Ride & Run. The event is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, at the Statesville Family YMCA, located at 828 Wesley Drive.

All proceeds benefit the Rainbow Kidz pediatric grief counseling program.

This year’s event includes a 5K and 10K run and 35-mile and 60-mile cycling routes as well as a Fun Run for kids. There is also a virtual option for those who prefer to participate at their own convenience. 

Packet pickup will be Friday, May 5, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, located across the street from the YMCA at 825 Wesley Drive.

Packets may also be picked up on race day from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m.

Early registration for the 5K and 10K events costs $25. Same-day registration will be available for $35.
