Friends of Carl and Mary Bustle will hold a BBQ on Saturday, November 11, to help the couple with medical expenses.

The BBQ will be held at Temple Baptist Church, located at 105 Temple Drive in Stony Point, starting at 12 noon. Plates of pork BBQ, baked beans, slaw, rolls, dessert and a drink (for dine in only) are available for $12.

Proceeds from the event will help the Bustle family. While recovering from a broken hip, Mary was diagnosed with cancer. Carl is unable to work because he is caring for Mary, friends said.

Organizers hope the fundraiser will cover the cost of a chair lift for the couple’s home and other medical expenses.
