Special to IFN

Get ready for a smokin’ good time and experience Mooresville like never before at the second annual Bands, Brews & BBQ Festival presented by deBotech.

The event is scheduled for 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, in Downtown Mooresville. This exciting event highlights the town’s thriving music scene and dynamic brewing industry.

Feast on mouth-watering BBQ crafted by local culinary masters from more than 25 regional BBQ food trucks. And don’t miss the chance to hear pitmaster Kevin Peterson share his BBQ secrets and give you a taste of his award-winning pork.

The festival will also feature a Family Fun Zone presented by Piedmont Healthcare, complete with amusement rides, games, and activities.

This year’s festival features an impressive lineup of regional bands, culminating with a performance by a headlining national act — to be announced at a later date. Attendees can enjoy a diverse range of musical genres that will keep everyone entertained throughout the day.

Celebrating Mooresville’s rich brewing culture, the festival will feature the “B3 Beer Garden,” which will showcase a variety of local breweries with their finest craft beers on tap.

“Ghostface Brewing is honored to team up with deBotech once again for the B3 event,” said Mike Cuddy, owner of Ghostface. “We love giving back and firmly believe we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of our community. We’re incredibly excited that the proceeds from our beer release will go to the U.S. Bobsled Team.”

The Town of Mooresville is proud to partner with deBotech as the presenting sponsor of the Bands, Brews & BBQ Festival. deBotech is a pioneer in advanced composite technologies and is committed to excellence and giving back to the community. Known for manufacturing the U.S. Olympic bobsleds for Team USA, deBotech’s contributions extend beyond industry innovation to community enrichment. The U.S. Olympic Bobsled team will be onsite for meet and greets, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to interact with some of the nation’s top athletes.

“We are excited to partner with the Town of Mooresville for the second annual Bands, Brews, and BBQ Festival to bring the community together for a fun-filled day of celebration!,” said Hans deBot, founder of deBotech.

The event will take over Liberty Park and Church Street in Downtown. Vendors on Church Street will open to the public at 3 p.m.
