The Animal Hospital of Statesville team opened the hospital to the public for the 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, November 9.

About 100 attendees enjoyed an afternoon of education and fun as we commemorated five decades of dedicated service to our community.

The event featured a Facebook Live video with Hospital owners Dr. Chip Cooney and Crisi Cooney and milestone ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, a guest book signing, cake, and medical demonstrations. Guests enjoyed a guided tour of the hospital, and a glimpse of the past, present, and future of the hospital.

“We were thrilled to see the great turnout for our 50th Anniversary Celebration Saturday,” Dr. Cooney said. “The cherry on top was having Dave and Pat Parks, who are the original owners of the Animal Hospital of Statesville, who came to visit for the festivities. We are honored to have served the Statesville community for 50 years and we are committed to providing excellent patient care and customer service for many years to come.”

Attendees also learned that the Animal Hospital of Statesville will be opening another hospital on South Main in Troutman in 2025.

The staff also unveiled the new logo and rebranding.
