Special to IFN
Home Instead recently completed its successful annual Be A Santa To A Senior program, which has provided over 1,500 heartfelt gifts to seniors in nursing homes and care facilities throughout our community.
In partnership with more than 20 local businesses and organizations, this initiative was designed to bring joy and companionship to seniors who may otherwise have felt forgotten during the holiday season. Through generous donations and the collective efforts of community members, seniors received everything from cozy blankets and personal care items to festive treats and personalized gifts.
“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we received from our community partners, volunteers, and donors,” said Brittany Jordaan, Home Care Consultant of Home Instead. “This program has truly demonstrated the power of kindness and community spirit, and we are thrilled to have brightened the holiday season for so many deserving seniors.”
The Be A Santa To A Senior program has become a cherished tradition for Home Instead, continuing to grow each year. This year’s success was made possible thanks to the dedication of local businesses, organizations, and individuals who came together to make a meaningful impact.
“We believe in the importance of supporting all members of our community, especially those who may feel isolated during the holidays,” said Brody Petree, Home Care Consultant for Home Instead. “It’s a heartwarming experience to see the smiles on the faces of these seniors and know we’ve made a real difference in their lives.”
