Special to IFN
Cornerstone Christian Academy Executive Director Renee Griffith has been invited to participate in the American Federation for Children’s School Leader Fellowship (SLF).
This fellowship is an invitation-only program designed to equip school leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to advocate for and expand school choice opportunities across the nation.
Griffith was nominated for this fellowship by N.C. Parents For Educational Freedom in recognition of her leadership and commitment to providing quality education that meets the unique needs of every child.
The SLF is a critical initiative aimed at empowering school leaders to understand better the policy and advocacy process surrounding school choice scholarships, both nationally and at the state level.
Griffith’s participation in this fellowship is a testament to her dedication to advancing educational opportunities for all families and her leadership within the Cornerstone Christian Academy community.
“We are thrilled to see Renee recognized for her efforts and look forward to the valuable insights she will bring back to our school community,” said Carmen Bandy, Lower School principal at CCA. “Her involvement in the SLF will further our mission to provide exceptional education to even more families, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to attend a school that best fits their needs.”
Another example of people getting rich from tax dollars with the so called opportunity scholarships!
If you take public tax dollars for your “school” then you should disclose your salary information for you and your family that work there.
Does “Special to IFN” always mean a paid news release from the organization? Just curious. Thanks.
EDITOR: It means it is a news release. We do not charge or accept payment for publishing news releases.
Cornerstone does not provide exceptional education to their students. In reality, most of the students do not go to college because they are unprepared. My children went to this school and I had to withdraw them for various reasons. Putting my kids in Cornerstone was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made and my kids fell behind educationally while there.
How ironic that for years Renee Griffith railed against the government but gladly takes your tax dollars from the government in the form of opportunity scholarships. She and her family get rich from your dollars but the school has zero accountability to you.
Maybe Ms. Griffith will agree to release her standardized test results.
