Personnel from Troutman, Monticello and West Iredell fire departments were alerted for a structure fire on Shalom Place at 11:01 p.m. on Thursday.

Arriving units were met with a fully involved structure fire. Multiple hose lines were put into operation and crews stopped the fire from spreading to another structure. The Central Fire Department’s Air Van was called to the scene to fill empty air bottles used by crews battling the fire. The structure was destroyed by the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
