Hope of Mooresville (HOMe) invites the community to attend an open house at its new South Campus location to celebrate the opening of its second residence.
The event will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, at 110 Centre Church Road, Mooresville.
There will be house tours, BBQ provided by F3 Race City, a raffle with over $3,000 worth of prizes, family fun, and more. F3 Race City Men’s Group, which has already volunteered over 200 hours on the project, will match up to $4,000 in donations to HOMe.
In 2023, to help meet the needs of Mooresville’s growing population, Centre Church agreed to allow HOMe to lease its parsonage for $0 a month. Local churches, companies, and organizations have volunteered, sponsored rooms, landscaped, made repairs, and have done so much more to make the residence ready for guests.
“Watching the Mooresville community and Centre Church come together to support our mission of serving the homeless is inspiring and represents our collective effort to serve those most in need,” said, Amy DeCaron, executive director of HOMe
