Special to IFN

Hope of Mooresville (HOMe) welcomed a mother and her three children into its South Campus location provided by Centre Church on Friday, July 26.

Upon entering their beautiful new room decorated by Peninsula Church, the two youngest children jumped up and down and squealed as they explored the bunkbeds and hugged the stuffed toys.

Next, the children explored the common play area located in the main part of the house. They immediately began playing with all the toys and art supplies in the welcoming space that had been provided and furnished by Hope at the Lake Foundation.

HOMe is thrilled to support this family on as they journey towards permanent housing.

“Welcoming this family into our new location means we will finally be ready to double our capacity to serve the most vulnerable women and children of Mooresville,” said Amy DeCaron, director of HOMe.

HOMe is the only organization in Mooresville that provides temporary shelter and support services to local women and children facing a housing crisis.
