The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is seeking dedicated applicants for the Candidate Program.

Individuals selected for the program will be paid an annual salary of $49,484 while they complete the Basic Law Enforcement Training program at Mitchell Community College.

The application deadline for the Candidate Program is July 3.

Requirements for the program include a high school diploma or equivalent; a clean criminal record; strong ethical standards and integrity; excellent physical and mental health; and a willingness to undergo extensive training
