As the spring season blooms into summer, Iredell County Parks & Recreation is preparing to launch its Local Farmer’s Market and exciting Summer Splash Series.
Running every Tuesday from May 7 until October 22, the Local Farmer’s Market will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Iredell County Rec Center located at 122 Grannis Lane, Statesville.
Offering a wide array of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and local crafts, the market provides a vibrant gathering place for the community to support local farmers and artisans.
In addition to the weekly market, three special Friday Night Markets will be held on May 31, July 19, and August 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. These evening events will be held in conjunction with the Summer Splash Series and feature live music, evening swimming, and more, providing families with an opportunity to enjoy the warm summer nights in a fun and festive atmosphere.
Those interested in participating in the Summer Splash Series are required to register in advance. Registration can be completed by contacting the Iredell County Parks & Recreation Department at 704-878-3103 or by visiting their website. Local vendors interested in showcasing their products at the Farmer’s Market should email james.kotcamp@iredellcountync.gov for more details.
