The Iredell Photography Club has announced the winners of the 2024 Carolina Photography Contest.
This year’s competition drew an impressive array of entries from talented photographers across the region, showcasing their skills in various categories, including Light, Subject, and Composition.
The Best of Show honor was awarded to Fred Clemmensen for his stunning piece, “Dew on Raindrops #18.” This photograph captivated the judge, with its exquisite detail and masterful use of light, setting it apart as the standout entry of the contest.

“We were thrilled with the quality and creativity of the submissions this year,” said Renee Whitley, spokesperson for the Iredell Photography Club. “The winning images exemplify the exceptional talent and artistic vision of photographers in our community.”
The Iredell Photography Club extends its congratulations to all the winners and participants for their remarkable contributions to this year’s contest. The winning photographs are featured at Iredell Arts Council, located at 203 S. Meeting Street in Statesville. The exhibit is open to the public through August 29.
