Special to IFN
JMS Southeast Inc. and Statesville Process recently donated the proceeds from their November vending machine program, totaling $800, to the Iredell Arts Council. This donation is part of the
companies’ commitment to supporting local charities within Iredell and Alexander counties,
providing direct financial support to organizations that enrich and inspire the community.
“We are truly grateful to JMS Southeast Inc. and Statesville Process Instruments Inc. for this wonderful donation,” said Sydney Koppelmeyer, executive director of the Iredell Arts Council. “Support like this helps us sustain and expand our programs, bringing the arts to life for people in our community. Their partnership makes a meaningful difference, and we’re honored to be part of this impactful program.”
The vending machine program is a unique, employee-driven initiative that funds charitable giving without additional solicitations. JMS Southeast Inc. and Statesville Process Instruments Inc. purchase snacks and drinks, mark them up by 100 percent, and sell them to employees. Each month, the revenue generated is allocated to a different organization, allowing employees to support local causes simply by purchasing snacks in the workplace. This program ensures a broad, ongoing impact on the community, with a new beneficiary selected every month.
