Kids in America – Totally 80’s Tribute Band will take the stage in Downtown Statesville on Friday, June 7, for the first concert of the 2024 Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series.

The show begins at 6 p.m. DENSO is the entertainment sponsor for this concert.

Attendees can expect a high-energy performance that combines the biggest hits and deep cuts of the 80s, brought to life with authentic costumes, dynamic choreography, and engaging stage presence. From chart-topping anthems to nostalgic favorites, Kids in America delivers an experience that transcends mere performance, inviting the audience to sing along, dance, and relive the magic of the 80s.

The Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series offers free entertainment in Downtown Statesville from May through October and features music of all styles. The series is also made possible by the presenting sponsorship of Flow Automotive of Statesville.

The concerts are held in Downtown Statesville on West Broad Street in front of Mitchell Community College from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, water, and food will be available for purchase beginning at 5 p.m. Bring your chairs and enjoy a great night of music. Pets, outside beverages and coolers are not allowed.

This year, each Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 concert will support a non-profit organization, offering them a booth to share information about their program and collecting donations on their behalf. This week’s event will be dedicated to benefiting Statesville’s Juneteenth Celebration. This event is a time to celebrate diversity and inclusion with education and awareness for all people.
