Mooresville Fire-Rescue and Shepherds Volunteer Fire Department personnel responded to a structure fire on Talbert Pointe Road about 12:24 p.m. Saturday.

Arriving units found heavy smoke and fire showing from an outbuilding. Mooresville Engines 2 and 4 stretched hose lines and extinguished the fire, which was declared under control at 12:36 p.m.

The Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate the cause.
