First responders rom multiple agencies responded to a structure fire on Hidden Lakes Road in Statesville about 8:30 p.m. on Monday.

Smoke was showing when Statesville Fire Department crews arrived. Firefighters initated an aggressive interior attack and stopped the fire from further expanding to the rest of the home.

Troutman Fire-Rescue personnel also responded along with Statesville police officers, Iredell EMS personnel, and an air van from the Central Fire Department.

No injuries were reported.

American Red Cross volunteers were called to assist the family of seven.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
