JMS Southeast Inc. and Statesville Process Instruments Inc. recently donated $600 to Pharos Parenting.

JMS Southeast and Statesville Process Instruments purchase snacks and drinks for their employee vending machines, mark them up 100 percent and donate all the profits monthly to local charities. Pharos Parenting was awarded the revenue for the month of August.

“This is a creative way to help support charities and organizations in our community, and we are very appreciative of JMS Southeast and Statesville Process for their continued support of Pharos Parenting,” said Nate Saunders, communications director at Pharos Parenting. “As an organization, we are funded by donations from individuals and organizations, and we know these funds will go directly towards helping local parents create a safe home for their children.”

JMS Southeast designs and manufactures standard and custom temperature sensors, including thermocouples, RTDs and thermowells. Founded in 1980, the company operates out of their facility on Temperature Lane in Statesville.
