Special to IFN

Pharos Parenting will host its fourth annual Rockin’ for a Reason benefit concert at Chickadee Hill Farms on Sunday, June 23.

This ticketed event, which begins at 3 p.m., will feature the 80s/90s MTV-era cover band Blue Monday, food trucks, raffle prizes, and a cash bar with beer and wine.

Advance tickets are $25 and can be purchased through June 22 at pharosparenting.org. Tickets will be sold at the gate on June 23 for $30 with cash or card.

Blue Monday will take concert-goers back to the golden era of music, blending high-energy rock with New Wave sounds. Local favorite, Wendy Wooten, will open the show with a variety of classics and modern hits with her soulful, expressive sound.

Three local food trucks will satisfy any appetite: Troutman Tacos Tony, LKN Mobile Eats, and Kona Ice of East Mooresville. Raffle prizes will include a mountain cabin stay, a cooler filled with various spirits, and a 50/50 drawing.

Chickadee Hill Farms is located at 181 East Monbo Road in Troutman.
